The Perfect Wave. G-Land is a consistent wave. At three foot (head high) it is fun, but at six foot (double overhead) and bigger it gets serious, and exceptionally good. G-Land is only for experienced surfers. It is a difficult and dangerous wave to surf, especially at low tide. It maxes out at 12 foot (six times overhead).

G-land is the best surf place
G-land is The best left in Indonesia for some surfers, located in East Java, surfed since the 70’s season after season by surfers coming from all around the world.
Very consistent, with 3 to 4 tubular sections, long and powerful, it’s really a place worth visiting even if it’s not for the shy nor for the not-so experienced surfers.
Incredible barrels out there, a lush green national park at the back, and all the modern comfort you need on the beach to rest after memorable sessions, that’s what surfing in G-Land is all about!
There are other spots more suitable for less experienced surfers in the bay of G-Land camp, but still of excellent quality, good enough to satisfy everyone’s thirst for waves surfing in East Java.

G-land Express
The trip to G-Land departs from Bali, where you are collected from your hotel. Comfortable air conditioned buses then take you to Gilimanuk, a three hour drive. The ferry to Java takes about half an hour and from there a one hour drive takes you through.
There is also the option of paying that extra money to take the speedboat transfer.
